So today I’m a wedding car! Just delivered the bride and her father, on time as well. Unlike the bride at my own wedding who was 40 minutes late…
It’s me (in the middle in case you hadn’t worked that out!) at my wee brother Campbell’s wedding. That’s him to my left in the same tartan obviously. Even though he’s 5 years younger than me people used to say we looked really alike but I can’t see it myself!
I can’t believe this was nearly a year ago now, it was such an amazing day. Although I’m glad I’m never likely to be a Best Man again cause it’s pretty stressful!
As a sidenote I love how it looks like Tam’s kilt is falling down hehe!
Atholl Palace, Pitlochry, Scotland.
I took this photo 4 years ago yesterday. This is Rochene, one of Lindsay’s best friends, on her wedding day.
This morning we were all back at this exact spot outside the chapel, only this time it was for Rochene’s funeral. I’m not sure how you’d find a more selfless couple, a primary school teacher and a fireman with an 11 month old baby. But then cancer doesn’t really care about that. Life just isn’t fair sometimes.
Live life to the fullest folks, and appreciate everything you have, because you never know when it might all be gone.
We’re up in Pitlochry for my wee brother’s wedding tomorrow and my best man’s speech just keeps getting closer! Just want it over and done with now if I’m being honest!
Instead of getting a good night’s sleep Campbell is sitting trying to make up a playlist for when people are arriving and still has to write his groom’s speech!
Wish me luck folks, hopefully by about 5 o’clock tomorrow I can breathe a big sigh of relief and actually enjoy my dinner!
