Dark shot of last night’s antics, including live lap timings on the projector!

Star trails.

It’s great looking through a telescope without a motorised mount and seeing stars and planets move quickly across the circle of view. It makes you feel unsteady standing on the ground as your brain can sense the whole planet is just spinning in space.

Loch Thom, Scotland.

A 10 minute exposure on the beach in the pitch black, looking out to sea towards the islands of Thailand. There was a lightning storm raging in the far distance behind the islands but it wasn’t bright enough to show up in the photo unfortunately. As we were sitting waiting on the exposure, 2 tiny wild pigs appeared out the rainforest to say hello, wondered what we were up to, then trotted off down the beach!
