The main prayer hall in the Grand Mosque in Muscat. This hall has room for 6500 worshippers. The carpet was hand woven in situ by women from Iran, it is all one piece and weighs 21 tons! The chandelier is 14 metres tall and weighs 8.5 tons, using over 600,000 Swarovski crystals.
